WHere is a simplified version of a cocktail found on a new menu. This is a batch prepared mix that's loaded full of tastes of a Christmas time, rendering it ideal for a holiday party. Reserve the remaining citrus syrup for morning drinks, desserts, or to make additional servings of bikinis.

Serves 10 guests
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (yields 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Cocktail (produces 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (as made above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
Making the Citrus Syrup: Put the listed ingredients in a pot, bring to a light boil, agitating so the sugar melts. After that, remove from the stove and leave to reach room temperature fully. Transfer to a clean bottle, close it and store in the refrigerator, where it will keep for about one month.
To make Cocktail Base: Combine the specified spirits and syrup into one large bottle, let it rest for 60 minutes, then strain preferably using muslin, to ensure it's completely strained.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of your cocktail base to a mixing glass filled with ice, gently stirring lightly for one minute until cold. Pour into an frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, decorate with the cranberries and complete it with a light spray of the essential oil above the glass.
